APPLICATION FOR REGISTRATION OF CAT
NOT LITTER REGISTERED WITH ACFA
Registration Procedures for Cats Registered with Another
Association
PLEASE complete the application in full. ACFA Registration Rules state
that we must have a minimum of three generations of ancestry [entered in
blocks 1-14 (note exceptions below)] complete with registered names and
COMPLETE registration numbers. Please use ACFA registration numbers
wherever possible.
Exceptions: A photocopy of the cat’s three-generation pedigree may be
submitted in lieu of completing blocks 3-14 of the application. ACFA
Registration Rules require a four (4) generation pedigree for Bengals.
A photocopy of your cat’s registration certificate from the association
with which your cat is registered MUST accompany your application. This
certificate must list you as owner. We will register the cat to the same
owner(s) listed on this certificate, we cannot remove owner’s names from
registrations submitted from another registry. (In order to change
owners, a transfer will have to be completed after the cat is
registered.) Please ensure that your complete address is on the
application.
Registration Procedures for Cats Not Litter Registered OR
Individually Registered in Any Association
PLEASE complete the application in full. ACFA Registration Rules state
that we must have a minimum of three generations of ancestry [entered in

COMPLETE registration numbers. Please use ACFA registration numbers
wherever possible.
Exceptions: A photocopy of the Sire/Dam’s three-generation pedigree may
be submitted in lieu of completing blocks 3-14 of the application. ACFA
Registration Rules require a four (4) generation pedigree for Bengals.
Complete the owner’s name as you wish it to appear on the Registration
Certificate. Please ensure that your complete address is on the
application.
If the Sire is not registered with ACFA, we must have a photocopy of the
Sire’s registration certificate from the association with which he is
registered. The owner of the Sire also must SIGN the application.
If the Dam is not registered in ACFA, we must have a photocopy of the
Dam’s registration certificate from the association with which she is
registered. The owner of the Dam, at the time of breeding, must sign as
the breeder.
If either or both Sire and Dam are registered with ACFA, the signature
of the owner of those cats is required on the application.
Registration Application Fees, Effective May 1, 2003: Member $14.00;
Non-member $24.00.
Application may be returned due to lack of complete information and/or
lack of sufficient funds. Delays may occur because of illegible writing,
so please PRINT or TYPE all information. Make sure photocopies are
legible. Completed registration certificate will be mailed to the
owner of record. Please allow at least 3 weeks processing time.
